- Strategic planning that shapes recovery priorities
RFA aims to strengthen the Government of Ukraine (GoU) in leading a demand-driven, gender-responsive, citizen-oriented recovery that is environmentally sustainable and inclusive. The project supports the GoU in establishing a decentralized and EU-compatible strategic and recovery planning framework and enhances the GoU’s ability to develop policies that meet the real needs of citizens— To monitor governmental strategic plans implementation, the project team developed ProjectUA—a integrated digital platform for strategic planning connecting national priorities with regional and local implementation, and supports GoU bodies and agencies in its application.
- Helping municipalities to lead their recovery
RFA aims to help municipalities build back better, not only in terms of reconstruction, but also socially and economically, so people who stayed in their municipalities not only survive this war, but thrive. The project will strengthen the capacity of 35 municipalities in meaningful strategic planning ensuring participation of citizens and consideration of their need, and in managing governance, social, and economic recovery initiatives identified in municipal action plans.
